the vibe of this place is so cute BUT whatever you do don’t get a matcha!! it’s going to be $10 and taste like nothing. i was so excited about my raspberry oat milk cold foam matcha but it was almost white in color and had zero flavor. it was inedible and i had to throw it away- i’m heartbroken! i don’t usually leave reviews but if you’re going to charge insane prices, the drinks should reflect the cost.

I WANT to love this place so much. The baristas are great, vibes are impeccable, but their coffee is mid at best and very expensive. The few times I’ve been here, my miel latte has been disappointing and cost over $8 (plus a tip so nearly $10 after everything!!). I truly do not mind paying extra to support a local business but the coffee is not worth it. Especially since a miel latte is a coffeehouse classic and not hard to get right.

The relaxed, accepting-of-one-and-all vibe and the old cottage building make you feel super comfortable. No wonder some students like to study there for hours. Interesting selection of coffees and teas too.

This place is a true 5 out of 5 stars, I would rate it higher if I could! The staff are very friendly and were patient when I was being indecisive about what I wanted to order. The drinks were stellar both times I went (the Fitzgerald is chefs kiss), and the cream cheese danish was delicious! The whole place was a vibe, and the music was loud enough to hear it but not so loud I couldn't have a hushed conversation, perfect volume. I haven't even mentioned the wide range of gifts and art from local vendors that you can purchase! Overall this café is magical and I highly recommend adding it to your list of hang out spots :)
